Silly Little Blog

Trying out short-form blogging to see if this one can stick with it this time. Doing it a little differently, with posts grouped by month but otherwise undated, in chronological order. Might have to change that if ever get around to setting up an RSS feed, though.

Also decided to rewrite the code almost entirely, trying to keep it as simple and easy to maintain as possible. This one has a tendency to do unnecessary stuff which makes the code annoying enough to deal with to be demotivating. Which is saying something for a site as basic as this one.

Took the KISS approach to the look of the site as well. Did a lot of silly, tacky stuff with CSS when it was still in learning mode, but it much prefers a more minimalistic style. A nice tile background that's not too distracting and a little box shadow action is plenty of flair for this one.
