Steam Backlog
While I’m not as bad as some beings, I have built up a sizeable collection of games on Steam since making my account in the late ’00s. I don’t know how many I have for sure with the way some games are categorized in a weird way or part of single-app packs, but after going through the list and adding most of them to a spreadsheet, it came out to 228, plus some.
That is a lot of games to sort through! And the actual number would be quite a bit higher but I was too lazy to go through compilations like Ninja Kiwi Archives or Sega Genesis Classics. Also excluded were a handful of free-to-play games I can’t be bothered to remove from my account.
To help get organized, the games were divided into five categories: complete, dropped, N/A, unsure, and to-do. N/A is for games that are multiplayer PVP only or otherwise don’t have any real way to “beat” them. Unsure is for games that might get dropped that I should consider focusing on first.
Under construction! This is a big project. I plan to eventually have some kind of write up for almost every game. With the way my brain works this means jumping between categories and slowly adding to each over time. I want to get at least one complete entry for each page that needs one so I can have links to all the pages here. Then, I’ll start slowly filling out the completed, dropped, and now playing pages.
